The Journey: New Dawn #2

"H-" She was cut off by the appearance of two toms.  She looked at them curiosity in her eyes

"Hi! I'm OwlPaw and this," the white and black tom flicked his tail towards the black and grey tom, "Is my brother, CrowPaw." The white and black tom mewed

OwlPaw..? CrowPaw? Could it be.. She thaught memories flooding her brain

"Well hi." A silver and black she cat mewed from behind Poppypaw and the light grey tom. The light grey tom then padded forwards, greeting OwlPaw and CrowPaw. 

"Hello, I'm LittlePaw and this is," LittlePaw flicked his towards Her, SpiderPaw, and FlintPaw who where emerging from the shadows. "this is PoppyPaw, FlintPaw and SpiderPaw. PoppyPaw and I are from AbyssClan and FlintPaw and SpiderPaw are from GrassClan" LittlePaw finished off. 

"AbyssClan? I thought it was StormClan." OwlPaw mewed, his head tiliting.  

"Didn't you hear about the fall of StormClan?" She asked. OwlPaw shook his head before padding towards The Mossy Rock where SkyStar, their father, would sit.   

"CrowPaw, I'm gonna touch it!" OwlPaw mewed. 

"OwlPaw, please don't." CrowPaw sighed annoyed. 

"OwlPaw, Please do!" OwlPaw yelled before climbing the tall The Mossy Rock. His big, fur feathered like tail swayed behind him as he dug his claws into the moss that surrounded the rock. "Whoa!" OwlPaw breathed, amazed of the view 

He then leaped off, jumping onto the back of FlintPaw. The two stumbled before FlintPaw won, squishing OwlPaw before getting up.  OwlPaw shook his snowy owl coloured pelt  before speaking. "What do you think your doing? My dad is leader you know!" OwlPaw hissed at FlintPaw.

"Yeah, well, my mother is CherryStar!" FlintPaw mewed flatly.  

"My grandpa is Darkstar!"  PoppyPaw mewed quickly.

"My dad is deputy of AbyssClan!" Littlepaw mewed.  

"Eh, not as cool." Spiderpaw scoffed.  

The cats started to chuckle. After the laughter died down, CrowPaw looked around. "Isn't there supposed to be a few Tree Clan cats as well?" He mewed.  

"What do you mean?" Poppy and LittlePaw asked quickly. 

"Well, there are two apprentices from each of the clans except Tree Clan." He mewed 

"There you are! Think you can try to trick us TreeClan cats? Well your wrong!" He hissed, he looked like he just came back from a fight with a dog. His tail looked like it was missing it's end, while his fur was sticking out from all directions.   

"EchoPaw stop right now!" A loud shriek came from behind.  Poppy looked twords the shriek, too see a white she cat with blue-grey stripes who looked just as angry as the tom. EchoPaw turned sharply, his ears flattening at the loud yell. Poppy stopped hissing. "EchoPaw what in the name of StarClan do you think your doing!? You stop that hissing right now! Or otherwise I'm gonna drag your dead corpse to StarClan!" The she-cat shouted in pure rage. 

PoppyPaw and Little quickly sat down like nothing happened while Spiderpaw and FlintPaw slowly backed away. CrowPaw padded towards OwlPaw who was staying very quiet.  

"Calm down AquaPaw. For Star Clans sake you need to chi-" EchoPaw hissed before being pinned by Aqua.  

"You are an embarrassment to TreeClan EchoPaw. So I suggest you shut that trap of yours before I shut it for you." AquaPaw silently said, a little hiss in her tone. AquaPaw slowly got up and sat down like nothing happened. EchoPaw rose to his paws and sat down next to his sister, glaring at Poppy then she flinched. "I'm really sorry about that." AquaPaw apoligised. "My brother isn't the smartest of all cats. He will attack anyone and anything if he thinks it's a threat." AquaPaw chuckled. The cats looked at each other before settling down.   

"So I guess you all got that prophecy?" FlintPaw asked, breaking the silence. Everyone nodded. "So what now?" SpiderPaw mewed. They all shared a quick glance towards each other before hearing a loud yowl from the sky.  

The eight cats looked up at the sky which was showered with silverpelt. Then, a calm voice suddenly spoke. "Before collision." The voice spoke. "The sun will use strength." Poppy heard, Then the sky shone even brighter before it died down again, returning to the dark blackness.  

"'Before collision, while the moon shall use intelligence?' That doesn't even make sense." SpiderPaw scoffed.  

"I didn't hear that. I heard 'Before collison, the sun will use strength." FlintPaw mewed.  

"I heard that too." PoppyPaw meowed. EchoPaw and OwlPaw nodded, agreeing with Them

"Really? I heard what SpiderPaw said she heard." Aquapaw said, rising. 

"Same " LittlePaw added. CrowPaw nodded. 

"Yeah same he-" A faint meow called out before being muffled.  

"Shut it! They're gonna hear us." A hiss could be heard.

"Alright, whose there!" EchoPaw growled. LittlePaw walked up to the tree where the sounds came from, pushing out two other apprentices.  

"TigerPaw, what are you doing here..." CrowPaw asked calmly.  

"Well I saw you and OwlPaw sneak out of camp so I followed!" A tan she cat with brown stripes and the messiest fur any cat had ever seen answered 

A brown tom with a white underbelly and dark brown stripes and patches looked down and stayed silent

"TigerPaw, you should've been sleeping." CrowPaw mewed calmly.        

"Im only 9 moons!" TigerPaw pouted.  

"Wait, your 9 moons?" EchoPaw asked. 

"Yeah, why you ask?" TigerPaw mewed

EchoPaw looked to the side, embarrassed.      

"Because well, Aqua and I are only 7 moons..." EchoPaw mumbled.

SpiderPaw started to laugh. EchoPaw gave her an annoyed look. SpiderPaw  covered her mouth with her tail too stop the laughing. Which didn't help much as all you could hear was the muffled giggles of SpiderPaw. 

"Moving on, I guess you two didn't receive the prophecy then. But you heard that voice right?" LittlePaw mewed. TigerPaw and HawkPaw looked at each other before nodding.  

"How odd. I guess your gonna have to join us then!" FlintPaw smirked.   

"Why should they join us if they didn't receive the prophecy?" SpiderPaw snorted.  

"Well, we can't just send them back. I'm sure they're very eager to join us. After all, they did hear the voices." CrowPaw informed in his calm tone. SpiderPaw was about to argue before closing her mouth, knowing that CrowPaw had a point.  

"So we can join you?" HawkPaw squealed, bouncing up and down.  

"I swear you act more like a kit than a (Guessing) 9 moon apprentice." Echopaw muttered. Then it went silent. 

"AKWARD SILINCE" PoppyPaw almost yowled.

"So what now?" Little meowd.

"I guess we will wait for the moon to use intelligence and the sun use strength?" AquaPaw answered.  

"How come we're the only ones who received it then? Shouldn't the leaders and medicine cats receive it?" OwlPaw added in.  

"Maybe this isn't a job for the leaders, and maybe a job for us?" SpiderPaw replied sarcastically.  

"Well if it's a job for us, what do we have to do?" FlintPaw retorted. 

Just as FlintPaw finished his sentence, the moon lit up a silvery path.  

"I guess we'll follow that..?" PoppyPaw mewed.
